The Carolinas Golf Association, the governing body of golf in the Carolinas, created the Tarheel Youth Golf Assocation to increase the visability of golfers in the state of North Carolina. They run some of the “Major” junior golf tournaments as well as the rankings for juniors in North Carolina.
